About Canucks Autism Network (CAN)

Founded in 2008 by Paolo and Clara Aquilini, Canucks Autism Network (CAN) delivers programs to individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, while promoting acceptance and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC.

CAN’s in-person programs are for children, youth, and adults on the autism spectrum and are delivered in-person across the Lower Mainland, on the Island and in the Interior, with Zoom programming reaching all corners of the province.

CAN’s vision is for every individual on the spectrum to be understood, accepted, and supported in all community spaces.

The prevalence of autism continues to grow, with 1 in 32 children now being diagnosed, and over 19,000 children and youth on the spectrum in BC alone.

With the challenges of the past two years, the need for support has never been greater.
